My First AJMV!

Hai, jammers!

YUP. Popcorn has finally grunted out her first AJMV. This was not the original one, actually. The OG one was on my mobile device and wouldn't let me transfer it to my computer.

After I fully accepted this somber realization, I decided to make a completely new one. And I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!

What I'm NOT happy about is the stupid watermark that's in the video, before the video, and in the end of the video!

That being said, though, I did quite like the editing software itself; it's free and very easy to use.

But that being said, I am experimenting with other softwares and one I have a 30 day trial on so expect another AJMV in April :D

Anyways, here is the AJMV "I Like Me Better When I'm With You"!

*Thank you to the one random jammer that helped me in that heart clip*

Let me know in the comments what you think, and also some song recommendations for my next one!

The Daily Interview - Season 1, Episode 4: DoomyPanda

Hai jammers!

Happy Tuesday! Judging by the title, you probably already know that today is interview day! On this episode of TDS, I've invited a very long-time AJ blogger...

DoomyPanda!

Doomy started their blog, the Animal Jam Stream, in June of 2012, and has continued to consistently post all the way 'til now! Like always, huge thanks to Doomy for kindly cooperating in this interview :)

*Edit: As I was finalizing the editing of this post, I realized some of the spacing layout was off, so let's all just try to ignore that :D

Let's get started!

Rare Egg Helmet + First Post Review

Hai jammers! Popcorn here, and welcome to the first post in my wild transition back to Blogger c:

Today's post is going to be a fairly quick one; the reason for that being I have another Daily Interview episode planned for tomorrow, as well as a requested tutorial on Thursday + SS :)

Enough of my rambling, let's get started!

ANOTHER Announcement

Hai, jammers C:

It is I, popcorn the pizza, back with another post.

So, I'm not really sure how to start this post. I've gotten/read some comments stating that Blogger is just easier to comment on, and that the AJD was kind of better here, etc. etc. I'm a sensitive person; I always take things the wrong way or just simply don't understand the main gist of a comment/post. So I just took those (actually very helpful) comments as "Boo, I hate this dumb decision, just stick with Blogger." In the end, I realize you all were right. (Also, I know that none of you meant to mean it like that; it's just become and unbreakable habit of mine that I really need to get past)

I appreciate all of your opinions :) That's probably what motivated me to... come back to Blogger.

The blog will have another makeover, but I found Blogger a little easier to use.

I haven't really been feeling my best lately (mentally, not physically) and just sluggish and not wanting to really do anything. Me interpreting those comments (like I mentioned above), did not help my burst of laziness and self-esteem.

But I'm hoping to look past that all and continue to use the OG AJD!

Like always, I'll make a post today, just probably more later in the day.

Toodles!

An Announcement

Hey jammers! Popcorn here, and please read the following announcement :)

I might move to another blogging platform. Don't get me wrong, Blogger is amazing, and the things that it offers (especially since it's free), is incredible. It really is a great place for... blogging!

But I've recently been wanting to try other websites to really, expand I guess. (Not that it's well known or anything)

I'm honestly not really sure how to explain my desire for another website. Curiosity? Interest? Probably a mix of both.

But, have no fear, the AJD will still keep runnin', you'll just find it on another platform! I've been using Wix, and overall it's been great. I love a lot of the things it offers, and it's a nice place to "work", I guess.

This blog will obviously stay open for viewing, I'm just not sure I'll be regularly posting anymore. I will be posting on the Wix one, so if you're looking for content, make sure you check that out XP My other blogs, however, will also continue to be active, and I will regularly post on them, too!

If you have any other questions, comment them below, and I promise I'll answer them! I know I kind of said this out of the blue... heh heh.

And of course, I will still be active on everyone else's blogs! I think I was just longing for a fresh start maybe?

As you can tell, I'm still not really sure why I'm changing. I really only know that I want to.

Sorry if this sounds like a big quitting post! I promise you it's not... think of it as a transition :)

>> Here is the blog that will be my now-active one, and I would appreciate it if you check it out! <<

Thanks for reading and happy jamming!

~popcorn :P

P.S. Feel free to look around, but just note that the pages are still being edited... I'm slowly getting the feel for how to edit them :l

The Daily Interview - Season 1, Episode 3: Violet86271

Hey jammers! Popcorn here, and I'm assuming you've already read the title ;)

We've got ANOTHER Daily Interview w/ popcorn episode! I do have a fourth one planned, and stay tuned for a fifth (hopefully) coming out soon!

Edit: Also, very quick update! (I can't believe I forgot this when originally writing this post xd) You may see in the title that I have added "Season 1" before the episode number! I hope to make "The Daily Interview" a series, and the current season (Season 1) will be a collection of interviews from past bloggers! In the future, I hope to interview current AJ bloggers, YouTubers, Instagramers, etc. and categorize them into their own seasons! We'll see how far I get (and how many jammers actually respond), but I'm actually pretty excited! Anyways, back to the post.

Today's very special guest is...

Violet86271! (also called Violet)

Like our past guests, Violet is a long-time AJ blogger, starting her blog, the Animal Jam Legendary Palooza, in 2014! Before we begin, big thank you to Violet for participating in this interview! All of the answers I receive mean so much, especially considering they're from most of my blogger inspirations!

Enough of the chit-chat, though, and let's just get right into the interview!

<><><>

When did you first join the blogging community?

I first joined the blogging community in 2014.

What inspired you to start blogging?

What inspired me to start blogging was seeing and reading a bunch of other people's peoples blogs and wanting to create my own. Scooter from the Animal Jam Sky Blog was actually a huge inspiration. Blogging looked fun, and I wanted to participate.

If you could make any changes to AJC (Animal Jam Classic), what would they be?

I don't really play the game anymore... but I would say better updates cause they were lacking for awhile (don't know if they still are), and more creative outlooks.

What are your favorite and least favorite parts about AJC?

My favourite or least favourite parts about AJC would be the memories that I created, it was initially a fun game when I was younger and it brought so many memories, and friends to my life, that I should not take for granted! I would say den decorating, hanging with friends and doing adventures would definitely be my favourite parts. My least favourite parts would be the scammers.

Is there anyone you used to/currently look up to?

I used to look up to Scooter from the Animal Jam Sky Blog a lot for animal jam and and AJ blogging. Now I am happy that there are still people who blog such as Doomy, and you, who are continuing the community that was once so alive!

Finally, what is your favorite blog post that you've posted?

I am not sure what my favourite blog post would be, but likely one with edits, or a lot of fun activities.

<><><>

And that will wrap up today's post!

Once again, huge thank you to Violet for your answers and kind cooperation! I love hearing all of the memories, stories, and thoughts past jammers have about present AJ!

Thanks for reading and happy jamming!

Rare Lucky Leprechaun Hat & AJ + WeForest

Hey jammers! Popcorn here, and welcome to a new post!

---
In this post:

What's Coming?

Rare Lucky Leprechaun Hat

The facts behind the crucial collaboration of AJ and WeForest
---

Let's get right into the post!

<><><>

Hi everyone!

Wheeeeeeewie, it's been a pretty crazy week! Along with my hopes of completing 5 ART GIFTS before June, I have been frequently working on ideas for this blog, working at the AJSASS, and also... becoming a member of Animal Jam Archives! uwu

Like I've said before, I would never leave this blog for the ones I am also "working" at; it's too special! And I'll try not to miss any scheduled posts :) If I do, though, expect a random post the following day to make up for it!

Also, before we start:

This little window is so cute!
But I wish it was released more near Valentines Day. I mean, if AJHQ knew they were going to rush into Lucky Day, why not release bunches of new items at once, so you don't get mixed "categories" of them, you know?
That set aside... I love it C:

Lot's of big plans coming, so let's get straight into our first topic of the day!
Monthly Updates - Yes, I did steal this idea from the AJSASS X) I think it is a great idea, and I hope to post some of the blog's monthly goals, post ideas, just basically a huge What's Coming? post :) Instead of the format that the AJSASS does (a monthly update each month regarding the previous month), I'll be doing a monthly update for the coming month! Also, I had an idea to include something I call "Past Stats", where I will review the past month's stats!

INTERVIEWS - If you think TDI (The Daily Interview) w/ popcorn is stopping, think again! As you will see in tomorrow's post (an interview), I will be explaining my ideas of expanding TDI! Basically, instead of just interviewing some past bloggers, I will also (try to) get in touch with some YouTubers and Instagrammers! And now that I'm a member of AJA, it makes the social media interviews a lot easier c:

Moving on!

The lucky Monday RIM today was the one and only...

Rare Lucky Leprechaun Hat!

Some basic info:
  • Price: 750 gems
  • Members only? Yes
  • Location: Jam Mart Clothing
I was surprised when I saw this RIM, actually. I didn't expect it to be full white with little green accents! But I don't really hate it... well, maybe if the clover wasn't ORANGE it would look a little better.

Finally...

Today's "main topic" will be all about AJ(PW) and the WeForest collab back in 2020!

WeForest is an organization dedicated to reforestation in Africa, as well as "innovative, high-standard, lasting solutions to restore forest landscapes", they say.

AJHQ says that the memberships that were purchased in April 2020 (as well as the following month) helped contribute towards planting and raising native trees in Zambia, a country in Africa! After visiting WeForests' site (which I'll link at the bottom of this portion), I saw that AJHQ was part of the Copperbelt: Forests on Farms project, which in the end planted over 3.6 million trees :O How cool is that?! And AJHQ ended up planting over 16,000 trees in that number with the profits of the purchased memberships! If you don't know what 16,000 trees looks like, picture about 240 football fields.

I think this was a huge step for AJHQ; and ended with an amazing result!

If you would like to read or donate to WeForest, below are a couple of links you can click to view it!

Old Things in AJC That I Wish Were Still Here

Hey jammers! Popcorn here, and welcome to a new post!

---
In this post:

Old things in AJC that I wish were still here

---

Hello, jammers! Before we jump into the post, I just decided not to do a Shop Shoutout today. Mainly because I've got 5 animal gifts lined up for fellow bloggers :), am way too lazy for some reason, and working on a spring graphic pack for my art blog!

That being said, I didn't want to not post so here's a really random one!

I actually got this idea from reading Fuzzy Shyivy's old blog, the Animal Jam Rush, after reading her very early posts starting alllllll the way back from 2010. As I started reading them, I realized she took frequent screenshots, and boy has AJ changed over the past 11 years. So, I found a couple of pictures from her blog and Doomy's blog (from 2013!) that I thought would be cool to make into a post!

I hope this post is entertaining, like always, so let's get started!

<><><>

In this picture, Fuzzy explained that there used to be little leaf icons hovering above certain plants. If you clicked one, a popup would explain the type of plant, list facts, and include pictures! How cool would that be?! This would not only be AWESOME, it would greatly increase Animal Jam's "learning" aspect of the game.

I deeply wish that AJ had kept their old Jamaa Journal. This version actually looks like a real newspaper and not just page after page going over an update we got 4 years ago. On the side, they list "Stuff to Do", which is an excellent newspaper-filler. People get bored in Jamaa all the time! I also love the little volume and date tracker in the Jamaa Journal header. SO cool.

I honestly wish that alphas were still scattered along the map. I think it's important for jammers to learn about Jamaa's history, and these alphas could help do that! Liza bringing me to my next point...

Um... am I the only one that gets annoyed by this?! I HATE how they changed Liza's appearance. If Liza's going to be a panda, give her panda qualities. Don't make her skinny just to make her look better; she already looks exactly how I would imagine a panda alpha to look like!

I also love how during Jamaalidays you could pick a present, just like you would under a Christmas tree! Sure, this isn't that big of a deal, but I think it looks a little more realistic.

I think that it was cool when AJHQ added little blurbs about the alphas! This could definitely come back, and they could just put out these kinds of messages monthly! Like I said earlier, it's important to know Jamaa to understand Jamaa, you know?

Finally, the last thing on my list, is the Rare Item Monday pictures they posted on the Daily Explorer! Instead of just adding the little golden gift boxes and only including the title of the RIM, why not just add a picture? It doesn't take much effort at all, and jammers will know what the RIM looks like so they can decide if they want it or not.

Onto....

No way this blog has hit 400 comments!! Thank you guys! Honestly, reading the positive, funny, happy, creative, joyful, exciting comments from all of you jammers, is in my opinion one of my favorite parts about running a blog! They are always so sweet, and make my day so much better :')

<><><>

And that will wrap up this short post! I hope you enjoyed, and comment down below which past "thing" you would like to come back too!

Thanks for reading and happy jamming!

The Daily Interview - Season 1, Episode 2: Pumaa

Hey jammers! Popcorn here, and welcome to a very special post!

Today's post is one I'm very excited about; Episode 2 of The Daily Interview w/ popcorn! Also good news: there will be an episode 3 coming out shortly! I recently received confirmation that the guest I asked would kindly participate in my interview, so that will be out soon! Who is the guest, you ask? You'll just have to read the next episode to find out :')

But, as the title says, our guest today is the one and only...

Pumaa! (formerly known as Geckoguy)

Pumaa is a long-time AJ blogger, too, and started his first blog "Animal Jam Explorers" (now known as Jammer Central) until he co-wrote the blog "Animal Jam Community Blog" with TheSlidoo. I would like to thank you, Pumaa, for your kind and considerate cooperation in this interview!

Without further ado, let's get started!

<><><>

When did you first join the blogging community?

I started my own blog in early 2011 (now called Jammer Central), but I didn't do much with it at first. When I was hired at Animal Jam Community in the beginning of 2012, I began posting regularly.

What inspired you to start blogging?

I found FuzzyShyIvy’s blog Animal Jam Rush at the beginning of 2011 and I was fascinated with it. Her brother TheSlidoo, the founder of Animal Jam Community, was another huge inspiration. They were the original AJ bloggers.

If you could make any changes to AJC (Animal Jam Classic), what would they be?

If we’re talking about the past, I wish I had focused less on updates and more on things like trading and rare items. I never liked posting about updates, but I thought it was the only way to get views. In retrospect, I would have been more successful posting about things that interested me more, instead of doing what all the other blogs were doing.

What are your favorite and least favorite parts about AJC?

Something I’m proud of is that AJC is to this day the most popular non-profit Animal Jam blog. We never ran ads, unlike the other top blogs. We probably lost out on thousands of dollars of ad revenue, but it shows were were working for fun and not for money.

I regret that we never kept the blog consistently up to date. Depending on how busy we were, sometimes the blog would go months with hardly any new content. That really held us back.

Is there anyone you used to/currently look up to?

TheSlidoo and FuzzyShyIvy, as I mentioned before. Slidoo was an excellent web and graphic designer for his age, and I learned a ton from him. Also, my friend Sheesh4 had a blog called Animal Jam Insiders which was great, although she privated it recently. Another friend BubbleGumBee was probably the best video editor in the community.

Finally, what is your favorite blog post that you've posted?

My 10 year anniversary post that I made recently is my best attempt to recap the highlights of my time on Animal Jam. I spent hours writing it!

<><><>

And that will wrap up the second episode of The Daily Interview with popcorn!

Once again, big thank you to Pumaa for participating! I really do appreciate all of these helpful answers!

Thanks for reading and happy jamming!

Rare Lucky Scarf & Appari Online?!

Hey jammers! Popcorn here, and happy Monday!

---

Let's get right into the post!

<><><>

Hello, jammers! How are you all today?

I don't really have much to say in this "intro", so let's just get started!

Today's RIM was actually a non member one! The item was a...

Rare Lucky Scarf

Some basic info :)
  • Price: 750 gems
  • Members only? NO!
  • Location: Jam Mart Clothing
I'm very happy that AJHQ finally released another non member RIM. Is this their best one? Definitely not. The green color isn't necessarily appealing... maybe if they went for more of a light, spring green instead of a swamp green.

I guess it's fine, though. Let me know what you think of it in the comments!

Moving on...

Um, am I hallucinating or did I just see Appari online?!

Let me just check again to make sure.

YEP. Wow. After about 30 minutes of rapidly clicking to see if I could get in his den, I finally got in. Unfortunately, he had just logged off, so I didn't get to meet him :(. But the "party" there was still goin' strong xd

Here are some pictures (if you see any characters that look like Aparri, they're just dressing up like him, not actually him):

That was pure chaos.

Onto...

Kitten the Kangaroo Chapter Megathon - Oh, yes. You heard that right. 3 episodes of KTK will be posted today! Chapter 3 and 4 were just posted, and Chapter 5 is right behind them!

2 Daily Interviews Coming Up! - YES! The series will continue! There will be at least 2 more "The Daily Interview" with popcorn episodes coming out! One will be tomorrow, and the other probably will be next week!

Discord Server xp - I've started an AJ Discord Server! I'm still working on everything, so it'll probably look pretty messy, but feel free to join if you would like :) Here's the link: https://discord.gg/FuSsZrAH

And that will wrap up today's post!

Thanks for reading and happy jamming!

Some "Lucky" Updates!

Hey jammers! Popcorn here, with a kind of unexpected post but I'm extremely bored and we recently got some updates, so why not?!

---
In this post:

March updates review

A surprising yet very true Instagram post
---

Let's get right into the post!

<><><>

Hello jammers! It is I, popcorn the pizza, BACK with another post XP Even though I've got loads to do, I wanted to at least put out the 9 updates we received from AJ last night (and also a pretty sad look at AJ's reality in the form of an Instagram post...)

Let's get started!

Ah, Pi Day. Comes every year, always stays the same. I hope they at least add some new den items!

Next up is the Spring Festival, a "new" adventure to find the hidden Easter eggs. This adventure kind of reminds me of Lucky Clovers, to be honest, just with different objects you're trying to find. Hmm...

Yep, here it is. I honestly think this is just filler. It's basically advertising the same thing it did when Lucky Day came out in FEBRUARY, just explaining the adventure a little more. (See below)

Yay, an advertisement for a den we've had for 3 1/2 years.

It looks like you can pick up eggs in the Diamond Shop for 3 diamonds, I think? You can either hatch a baby chick, a falcon, or a crocodile! Once again, cool items, same things from last year though.

Oh look who decided to come back :l

AAAA. I actually like this den. The stone pathways and circle in the front lawn are unique, and I'm glad they didn't just make it identical to the other small house's. But you probably know what I'm going to say, so I'll spare you the annoyance :)

Flamingos have returned. Yay. Not really sure why they're acting like they are new animals...

The last "update" we received was the Enchanted Lucky Bundle! The bundle can be purchased in the Diamond Shop for 30 diamonds and includes the following: a Goat, pet Flying Pig, the Spring Cottage den, lots of new Lucky den items, and some cool clothing accessories in green. I went in the Diamond Shop today and saw everyone almost hyperventilating over it. "PLEASE BUY FROM MY SHOP I NEED THIS BUNDLE IM BEGGING" xd Oh the sights you see.

Now onto...

The harsh but true Instagram post :)

It's actually kind of hard to see, and this just goes to show what everyone's been trying to tell AJHQ these past couple of months :c

<><><>

And that will wrap up this post! Although I wouldn't really consider these "updates", at least we got something, right?

Thanks for reading and happy jamming!

Copyright Symbols: All AJ Bloggers Need to Know

Hey jammers! Popcorn here, and welcome to a new post!

In this post:

Funny AJ Ally

Gabby's Animal Hospital is in the SS spotlight!

Copyright: What is it and how is it used?

Small-ish blog updates :)
---

Let's get straight into the post!

<><><>

Hello, jammers! Happy Thursday ^.^

Sort of a long post, and not a very long intro, so let's just get started!

To start this post off right, here's an adorable and creative way to get the tiger animal... without getting the tiger animal! xd

Onto the one and only...

Shop Shoutout! YAY! This week's shop in the spotlight...

Gabby's Animal Hospital

Description: Gabby's Animal Hospital is a medical-themed building in Jamaa. It was formerly known as the Medical Center, but a small update replaced it with Gabby's Animal Hospital in September 2013.

Location: Kimbara Outback

First Released: Although it was introduced when Kimbara Outback was first released (July 2013), it didn't actually open until September 2013.

Fun Facts:
  • The letters on the eye chart by the door spell out several names of the alphas!
  • There was a 2 year gap where the hospital had no watchable videos (2014-2016)
  • The coloring table on the lower level of the building once could be clicked and opened to a Print and Play menu, but it is no longer a clickable object
Images: (not my images)

Moving on...

Welcome to the main portion of this post :)

Now, copyright. It's a very interesting topic that a lot of people tend to get confused by. For instance, adding a copyright symbol doesn't mean that people will get in big trouble if they still your work. Obviously, no one should ever steal someone else's work; it's horrible and wrong. But they won't get extremely penalized. Continue reading to find out what these 3 copyright symbols mean!

© Copyright - Copyright is basically the right you have over the things you create. It's automatically yours when you create photos, drawings, writings, and videos; in other words, you don't need a copyright symbol to have copyright. In the case that someone does steal your work, copyright symbol or not, there's really not much you can do about it.

™
Trademark - Trademark is basically copyright, but is more commonly used with a name or phrase. Similar to the copyright above, you can't really do much of anything if someone copies that name/phrase. The symbol is once again just a reminder; unless you have it registered. Read more below.
® Registered - This symbol you absolutely cannot used unless you have it registered, meaning you paid money to some government agency to protect your personal work. Using this symbol without paying money is illegal. You can get in a lot of federal trouble, something you shouldn't have to worry about when you're on a free, blogging platform! If you do register a copyright, there are certain registered symbols that you can use on your blog (as mentioned above).

In the end, you can use the copyright and trademark symbols for free, but you can't really do anything if someone steals your work. The only way to really get someone in trouble for stealing your work is if you have a paid, registered, trademark on your website/blog/work.

I hope that made sense, and that you'll never have to get in trouble with any federal agency as someone under 18 xd

Finally...

Announcement - Yes, I do have an announcement (that Dogo and Doomy already know xp). I have joined the AJSASS (Animal Jam Special Agents Stopping Scammers), and I have been promoted to gamma! You may or may not see me post in a couple of weeks; my agent name is Blossom, if you ever see me write a post! :) For those wondering, no, I would never leave this blog, and will continue to regularly post on it on the days according to my Blog Schedule!

Popcorn's Art - A possibly temporary installment of mine; I made an "art blog" (completely inspired by Wild), where you can find some of my AJ drawings (like the one I showed you all yesterday :)

Page in Progress! - The "Links" page I mentioned a couple of posts ago is in the works! I say it may come out in... 3-ish weeks?

End of Daily News

<><><>
And that will wrap up this post! I hope you enjoyed (and found it somewhat useful)!

Thanks for reading and happy jamming!

(Belated) 6 Years of Popcorn Post!

Hey jammers! Popcorn here, and welcome to the very special 6 Years of Popcorn celebration post!

Haha, I know it's a day late, but I didn't get a chance to see the Q & A questions in time (Thank you Doomy and Wild for asking some!)

In this post:

Q & A Answers

First outfit drawing "re-creation"
---
Let's get started!

<><><>

Alrighty, we're going to start by answering the questions!

What is your favorite memory you have from Animal Jam?

I don't really have a specific one... probably either making popcornpizza25 or making some of my best friends! Ah, those were the days where the game was still at it's peak, and we were getting frequent updates on animals, pets, etc.

What is your least favorite memory you have from playing Animal Jam?

Probably when I got half of my best items scammed. I basically got "S14" or "2-person" scammed at a trading party. (If you don't know what that is, click here to read more) I forget exactly how it went, but I had like a yellow short collar, some den betas, a skunk tail, a glow ring, and an ahoy hat on my trade. This person walks up to me and goes "I'll take your list plus another den beta for my list." (Let's call her armadillo) And let me tell you, they had like a red long, 4 black short collars, and a couple of wrists. Mm-hmm. That rare. I then see someone on the other side of the party saying "Trade me :)" (Let's just call them giraffe). At this point I was pretty upset I didn't have another den beta that I could've traded that person that walked up to me. I just needed one more. So I check out giraffe's list and they have one den beta on their trade. I go over to their den to talk to them because I didn't want anyone else trying to make an offer with them for it. They say that they'll accept my yellow short collar and my skunk tail for it.
Here is an example of something I did that impacted my present and future rarity in that moment. I had asked myself this question:
If I traded 2 of my biggest items on my list, would armadillo even accept my trade anymore? I lost bundles of den betas in worth, when I traded for that den beta. I was just so into the excitement that I could possible get spikes, that I had a complete brain fart. (I mean, I also didn't really know what scamming was at the time... that probably would've changed things) After I had made the trade with giraffe, I found armadillo. With a den locked, jam-a-grams off, and completely off the game. Giraffe, too. Ah, what a day that was.

What motivated you to join AJ/why did you join?

Haha, I love that question! I joined on March 2nd, 2015, when I and some of my other friends stayed after school. Although the after school "program" if you will, was pretty horrible, it had one great benefit that overshadowed the downsides: Chromebooks. The teachers would let us each use a Chromebook until our parents came to get us (assuming all homework was done. *insert eye roll here*)
At the time, Animal Jam was still Animal Jam (none of that "Classic" nonsense) and AJ was still on one of your browser tabs and Animal Jam was still available for Chromebooks.
But anyways, me and my friends were watching another one of my friends play Animal Jam on their Chromebook. None of us knew what it was at the time, only that our friend had a "membership" and they could assign us rooms in their beach house den. Yep. We would request rooms in her ginormous mansion, and she would decorate it! Although it seems pretty weird now, looking back, it was so fun xd
Eventually all my friends were playing Animal Jam, and we would have our own roleplay's, trading parties, whatever we wanted! Even when the school we were at found out how much time we spent on it and blocked it, we would find (probably unsafe) websites to play on it again. We were probably past the definition of addicted xd Anyways, that's the story of popcorn first joining Animal Jam. You can probably tell how clueless I was with picking a username; a friend I have still makes fun of me for it -_-
But this little website truly did change my life, and although a lot of my friends have moved on, I've never really thought about leaving it (oop, unless you count that 8 month "break" I had on it... o.O)
But we don't talk about that :)

What's the weirdest thing that's ever happened to you on AJ?

Thanks for asking, Doomy! Probably the time I ran into a fox in Jamaa Township spamming "KITTY GO HISS". That was one of my favorite experiences as well :) (I might've included this in a previous edition of AJ Ally... I forget)

Time to move on!

In memory of my first ever AJ outfit, I decided to draw my bunny (my first animal) with the clothing items she wore! (I named her Rosy o.O)

Thank you to Wild and Dogo for showing me Pixlr X; I've recently become in love with it and can't stop drawing my animals, teehee. But here's my drawing of Rosy when she was first born! (That sounded a lot better in my head)
(You can click her if you want to zoom in a bit)

It wasn't my best, but I think it turned out ok! (I used Animal Jam Archives' clothing assets to add the clothing items if you were wondering)

And that will wrap up this special post! I hope this was enjoyable, like always, and I do have a special announcement coming up... so stay tuned!

Thanks for reading and happy jamming!
