Rare Spring Flower Mohawk & My Favorite *MAGICAL* Den Items

today's post is really just a favorite items post.. nothin too special c: 

oh! we also've got our weekly RIM, and i'm... intrigued by it..

without further ado, let's get into the post!

the RIM is the one and only.. Rare Spring Flower Mohawk!

Other variants: (i couldn't find any specific mohawks that fit with the design of this one, so i'm going  to skip this category!)

alrighty, now some of my absolute favorite *magical* den items! i said magical because these items sort of feel like they'd be in a harry potter book or something. just very.. fantasy-y C: (not in any particular order)

1. Rare Wood Fence

first up is the one, the only, Rare Wood Fence! i absolutely LOVE this item; the vines, and the raggedy wood fence vibe is so.. vintage? not quite sure how to describe it haha. and i love the animated fireflies flying around it C:

2. Piano Planter

i feel like the Piano Planter is such a cute and decorative item.. the variety of flowers and the colors are just *CHEFS KISS*, and the fountain/waterfall is so cute!! 

3. Patch of Fog

next up is the Patch of Fog, one of my ALL TIME favorite items ever. i love how it's not just a circled-cloud-thing, and it's got movement, and transparency, and animation. i love this item c: (similar to this is Phantom Smog, basically a lime green version of the above fog)

4. Lantern

not many people know of this item, but i love the old, wood look! the one thing i don't particularly like is the angle; i wish ajhq had tilted it a few more degrees so we could see more of the light! but it's still a favorite of mine, so it earns a spot on the list ^^;

5. Blue Fire Drum

moving on to the Blue Fire Drum! this item kind of reminds me of the soul torches and lanterns in Minecraft (if you know, you know). the teal/cyan/purple color scheme of this item is so pretty, and i really love the rustic feel of the item!

6. Rack of Rare Clothing

finally, we have the Rack of Rare Clothing! i personally think this item is so unique and cool.. the silver/gold colors of the rack make it look like a stone/medieval thing to me and i love it! this would be really cool for a backstage play/movie theater den!

Hello Again! heehee & "Stay" AJMV & Contest Winner Announced TOMORROW

haiii jammers!!

mwahaha popcorn has yet again returned with a post.

i'm SORRYYYY

i had no idea i'd be non-existent for a week, but end of school year exams and assignments snuck up on me T^T 

luckily, though i still have a couple of assignments, my exams are done! 

to catch y'all up with what i've been up to, here's a little rundown:

- i cried over my favorite characters breaking up in my favorite show, then i happy cried when they got back together

- i started and finished my new AJMV "Stay" (by Gracie Abrams) and i'm so excited to show youuuuu!

- i purchased a membership on AJC c: i kind of don't like myself for doing it though, especially with all of the stuff regarding AJHQ. i don't think they should be getting any "reward" for their non-existent actions about a certain someone, but since i've got an Animal Jam blog, i thought it would be a worth-while purchase (here's my new outfit) 

- annnnnd, i've been working on some art projects, including Wild's entry, random edits, etc. all the usuals c: 

notice: the Spring Graphic Contest winner will be announced tomorrow! we got a new entry that i think will be posted later (Princess Brightstar), so i pushed it back another day. thank you to the 3 that already entered!

anyways, first order of business: the AJMV!

i couldn't stop listening to this one particular song after i saw an edit of 2 characters (aka the one's i mentioned above ^^;), and i was desperately trying to search it up on YouTube. i then realized it would be much easier to look up the soundtrack of the series, and voila, there it was! 

this is a more chill AJMV, and by that i mean i didn't do a WHOLE lot with it heehee. it's a sad song, what can i do? 

it makes me emotional LOL 

despite a few bumps along the road (aka my GAME crashing 100 million times *inwardly cries*), and BLOGGER not wanting to SHARE my video, i managed to upload it :D 

if the quality is trash, it's because i had to screen record from the app :( but hey, no watermark! 

enough of my rambling, here's the finished product!

(it technically starts at 3 seconds heehee)

i love this RIM so much, but i can't get it! i think the colors on this particular RIM are just, chefs kiss, and i was already a fan of the flower tail before this, so i may sound a little biased. 

nevertheless, i think this is a great RIM, so good job AJHQ.

GIFTS! & A Look at my First "Blog"

popcorn is back again T^T

and i have resorted to not writing in capital letters, unless it is proper nouns c: i've never liked capital letters for some reason. like i just don't like them. i have absolutely no idea why. i'm not sure why i ever wrote in capital letters to begin with, but i think it was just out of habit xd 

but just a quick little notice xp

in today's lil post, I'll be presenting Wild and Vai with a gift, as well as taking a look at my first blog i made when i was 8 :D it's an actual nightmare

let's get started!

first.. THE GIFTS. 

Wild's gift is one of her wolf, Citrus, and because she made a header that i referenced, she gets a gift c:

i didn't include the zipper tail unfortunately DX it wouldn't fit on the tail, and was about the size of the head by the time i correctly resized it.. i hope that was ok!

i also didn't include a scripted name like i usually do (just because of the size of the wings and antlers), so let me know if you'd like me to add it C:

next is Vai's gift! this was just a spur-of-the-moment thing because i remembered it was Vai's birthday! i was looking at her animals and saw one that was so cute i couldn't NOT edit her. here she is!

since i used a sleeping wolf as the animal, i had to loosely reference Vai's fox (who i called "forest") and only include a couple of items. i hope you like it Vai! feel free to add a background if you'd like; i forgot that the gradient white on the end of "happy birthday" would just blend into the background of the post -.-

now onto the main part of this post: looking at the "blog" i had when i was 8. i put quotation marks around blog because no one could actually see it. i used google sites, and it was connected to my school account which made it so i couldn't actually publish the blog on the web. basically, i was writing for nobody. i, of course, didn't realize this until after i'd spent a good week designing it :D

anyways, let's take a look. 

here's the header! pretty simple overall. as you can see, i titled it "Animal Jam Central" which i thought was GENIUS at the time.

this was the text box that greeted you on the home page. let's go sentence by sentence, shall we? "Hi there! I'm popcorn!" GAG. "This is my blog about, obviously, Animal Jam!" oBvIoUsLy. "I will come to you, readers," why did i say readers? ".. with updates, contests, giveaways, cheat codes (winky face)" oh my god, that's just beyond the term "cringe". "and SO MUCH MORE!" geez, popcorn, why do you have to yell?

this was the "Updates" page, where i only wrote in one entry :) feel free to read it if you'd like, nothing much to cringe at.. YET

here was the "Contests" page, where i had planned a whole amazing contest that i was SO excited about.. it was unfortunately never seen :( once again, only one entry.

this was the "ME" page! i really loved this outfit back in the days.. why? I DON'T KNOW T^T. and why did i say "yup". ewww. feel free to read the cringe if you'd like C:

Welcome May! 🌺 Rare Spring Space Helmet & Journey Book Tips!

GAH, I'm sorry for the missed posts this weekend, I was unexpectedly busy.. 

But, to make up for that, I have planned a very large and special post that will include a new AJMV, Cool and Unique Spots in Jamaa (Part 2), Wild's Contest Entry, free graphics, and more! 

I hope that sounds interesting, and it will be posted sometime this week/next week!

Ourrrrrr weekly RIM was none other than the Rare Spring Space Helmet ?

Eh, it's not horrible. But I'm kinda sick of all the spring stuff now.. I don't really know why xd The space helmet concept is also a little strange.. but whateva. 

Now, here are some tips for finding your hidden Journey Book objects C: 

1. Vibrant "decorations" 

Lucky for us, AJHQ isn't so mean when it comes to hiding these Journey Book nature items! It can be pretty easy to tell between a normal land plant and an item in the Journey Book (as seen in the pictures below)s

2. ANIMALS

Same with the "decorations", animals also present a pretty clear contrast between themselves and their environment. I found 3 different animals in one land at the same time, and you can see how they've been more recently updated and new-ish.
