Achievement - an accomplishment earned by a jammer by completing tasks. There are currently around 250 achievements that you can earn

Adventure - an "expedition" with objectives to complete either individual or multi-player tasks to win prizes
AJ - a short abbreviation for Animal Jam
AJHQ - an abbreviation for Animal Jam Headquarters 
Alpha - a group of leaders that defeats phantoms; considered the heroes of Jamaa

Amelia - the fox alpha; inactive

Andy - the llama alpha; inactive

Animal Jam - a kid-friendly, safe online game for kids to learn about animals, socialize with other jammers, and learn more about our natural environment

Animal Jam Blog - a blog dedicated to information and news about Animal Jam

Animal Jam Fan Fiction - a fictional story written by a fan or jammer that is about or related to Animal Jam

Animal Jam YouTuber - a YouTube who's channel's content is about or related to Animal Jam

Aparri - an Animal Jam player known for his Animal Jam YouTube videos 

Appondale - a savannah-ish land in Animal Jam

Appondale Theater - a theater-related room where you can watch educational videos; located in the Conservation Museum 

Art Studio - a room where you can shop for art related items and make masterpieces; located in Coral Canyons

Atlas - the lion alpha

Avalon - the owl alpha

Bahari Bargains - an underwater shop that sells underwater clothing items; located in Bahari Bay

Bahari Bay - a coral-filled underwater land in Animal Jam

Balloosh - a swamp-like land in Animal Jam

Barrett - the polar bear alpha

Beta - a short time period where players could test out the game before it was released

Biff - the hyena alpha    

Boomer - the kangaroo alpha

Brady Barr's Lab - a laboratory-like room where players can learn about wildlife, watch videos, and learn about what to do in survival situations; located in Lost Temple of Zios

Buddy - a jammer that has been added to another jammer's buddy list

Buddy List - a list of players' buddies

Calypso - the sea turtle alpha

Canyons Pathway - a narrow path that connects Coral Canyons to Crystal Sands

Captain Melville's Juice Hut - a room where you can play The Claw and make yourself a smoothie; located in Crystal Sands

Chamber of Knowledge - a building where jammers can read Minibooks and take the Safety Quiz; located in Lost Temple of Zios

Chat - the basic communication method between all jammers

Clark Stacey - the CEO of WildWorks

Claw Machine - a minigame where you can pay 5 gems per turn to have a chance at receiving a random plushie

Claws N' Paws - a pet shop where you can adopt a wide variety of land pets, as well as dress them up; located in Appondale

Codes - words/phrases that can be entered to redeem gems, diamonds, promos, and memberships

Coral Canyons - a canyon and desert-like themed land

Cornelius - the crocodile alpha

Cosmo - the koala alpha

Crystal Reef - a coraled (that is a word) ocean land

Fashion Show - a type of contest where jammers must dress their animal in up in a certain theme

Feast of Thanks - an event that occurs in late November to celebrate Thanksgiving

Felicity - the lynx alpha

Flag Shop - a shop where you can buy flags from different countries to put in your den; located in Sarepia Forest

Flippers N' Fins - an underwater pet shop where you can purchase and customize pets

Friendship Festival - an event that occurs during the month of February to celebrate Valentines Day

Gems - the main currency in Animal Jam that can be used for purchasing dens, animals, pets, items, and more

Gifts - items that you can attach to Jam-A-Grams to send to buddies and jammers

Glitch - a bug or flaw in Animal Jam that is usually on accident and disliked by jammers

Graham - the monkey alpha

Greely - the wolf alpha

Harper - the seal alpha

Hacker - a jammer with lots of knowledge about the game and other jammers' account, so they can hack the game/account

Hot Cocoa Hut - a room in Mt. Shiveer where jammers can play a Hot Cocoa minigame and shop for winter clothing items

Hudson - the otter alpha

Jade - the snow leopard alpha

Jag - an Animal Jam acronym standing for "Jam-A-Gram"

Jamaa - the word jammers use to describe the world of Animal Jam

Night of the Phantoms - an event that occurs throughout October to celebrate Halloween and it's festivities

Olive - the cheetah alpha

Otto - the elephant alpha

Party - a public room where jammers can dance, trade, and buy certain items; excluding certain animal-only parties

Password - a series of numbers, letters, symbols, and phrases that allow a jammer to access their Animal Jam account

Peck - the bunny alpha

Pets - small animals that you can purchase and customize that will follow you around

Phantoms - an Animal Jam enemy that were born from Mira's tears to destroy and wreck havoc in Animal Jam

Pillow Room - a small room in Jamaa Township where jammers can roleplay and "adopt" children and pets

Play Wild - the 3-d version of Animal Jam

Poll - a certain type of survey; used commonly among Animal Jam Bloggers and jammers

Promo Gift - a type of gift that will automatically be added to your account prior to entering a certain code

Rare Item Monday - a certain rare item that comes out every Monday; most commonly found in Jam Mart Clothing

RIM - an acronym that stands for "Rare Item Monday"

Ruby - the rhino alpha

Sarepia Forest - a forest themed land

Sarepia Theater - a room in Sarepia Forest where jammers can watch educational videos, play a popcorn minigame, and buy certain items

Scam - a method some jammers use to steal or unfairly take your items

Scamming - the verb for scam

Scammer - the title for a jammer that scams

Sigurd - the deer alpha

Sir Gilbert - the tiger alpha

Summer Carnival - a long, summer event that lasts for 3 months in which you can play special games to win tickets to buy cool prizes

Sol Arcade - a room in Jamaa Township where you can play minigames

Sophia - the horse alpha

Tavie - the dolphin alpha

Ticket - the currency in the Summer Carnival

Tierney's Aquarium - a room in Crystal Sands where you can watch videos and learn about marine life

Trading - a method of fairly trading items with another jammer

Username - the name you use to log into your account; also the name that is displayed while you play Animal Jam

Valentina - the eagle alpha

Victor - the alpha alpha

Zios - the father of Jamaa; also known as the creator of Jamaa
