Hello Again! heehee & "Stay" AJMV & Contest Winner Announced TOMORROW

haiii jammers!!

mwahaha popcorn has yet again returned with a post.

i'm SORRYYYY

i had no idea i'd be non-existent for a week, but end of school year exams and assignments snuck up on me T^T 

luckily, though i still have a couple of assignments, my exams are done! 

to catch y'all up with what i've been up to, here's a little rundown:

- i cried over my favorite characters breaking up in my favorite show, then i happy cried when they got back together

- i started and finished my new AJMV "Stay" (by Gracie Abrams) and i'm so excited to show youuuuu!

- i purchased a membership on AJC c: i kind of don't like myself for doing it though, especially with all of the stuff regarding AJHQ. i don't think they should be getting any "reward" for their non-existent actions about a certain someone, but since i've got an Animal Jam blog, i thought it would be a worth-while purchase (here's my new outfit) 

- annnnnd, i've been working on some art projects, including Wild's entry, random edits, etc. all the usuals c: 

notice: the Spring Graphic Contest winner will be announced tomorrow! we got a new entry that i think will be posted later (Princess Brightstar), so i pushed it back another day. thank you to the 3 that already entered!

anyways, first order of business: the AJMV!

i couldn't stop listening to this one particular song after i saw an edit of 2 characters (aka the one's i mentioned above ^^;), and i was desperately trying to search it up on YouTube. i then realized it would be much easier to look up the soundtrack of the series, and voila, there it was! 

this is a more chill AJMV, and by that i mean i didn't do a WHOLE lot with it heehee. it's a sad song, what can i do? 

it makes me emotional LOL 

despite a few bumps along the road (aka my GAME crashing 100 million times *inwardly cries*), and BLOGGER not wanting to SHARE my video, i managed to upload it :D 

if the quality is trash, it's because i had to screen record from the app :( but hey, no watermark! 

enough of my rambling, here's the finished product!

"Cake" AJMV!

Haii jammers!

YAY, popcorn finished her new AJMV! I got a strange spark of enthusiasm and motivation yesterday and decided to work on another AJMV 'cause I enjoyed making the last one so much :') 

And also since all of you were BEGGING me to make another.. heehee, I'm just kiddin'. 

I chose the song "Cake" by Loren Grey. I really liked the lyrics and the powerful comeback this main character had after living with a partner that didn't care about her. 

I was planning to post it this weekend, but you know me, always impatient T^T. I hope you enjoy it, as alwaysss :)

You can definitely consider this as one of my "lazier" AJMV's.. I had some more ideas for effects and transitions and such, but ended up not adding them. Some parts I did like, though :)

Since it's only Friyay (no, I did not misspell that), you can expect a post coming anytime this weekend!

I'm Back! & Monthly AJMV

Hai, jammers!! Yes, popcorn has returned C:

To start off, I apologize for my absence and leave without warning! I did have spring break, and I traveled for about 8 days :) I was dreading going (it wasn't my decision in the first place -_-), but  it was a nice break from reality, even if it was just for a little over a week! 

But I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of comments that were on my most recent post C: I appreciate all of your input and helpful feedback for the movement title, and although it's not fully official I am leaning towards The Rainbow Movement. I think it's important to recognize each jammers' differences, and the certain qualities that make them special, like all of us! Each and every one of us has our own strengths and weaknesses, whether you recognize them or not! Although they don't define you, they make up an important part of who you are as a person, and I think that's really special X)

Ew, why did I actually sound like some sort of therapist ^^

On a completely unrelated sidenote, I recently started reading the twilight series and I'm absolutely loving the books. I have yet to watch the movies, but I've heard they're not nearly as good as the books... so we'll see! I usually don't like fantasy related books, but I applaud the author for the well constructed reality senses that give it a more realistic-fiction-book feel. Great series overall, highly recommended :)

And there you just saw my nerdy book flag fly high X) If you have read them though, I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments!

Although this post has already turned out longer than expected, I wanted not label it as an explanation post (even though it's already kind of shaped up to be..) and include something at least a little bit enjoyable! 

I did get to finish my April Monthly AJMV, and for those who read my post pre-edited I actually just finished cleaning some spots up! So without further ado, I bring you the updated, basically finished Monthly AJMV :)

I hope it turned out okay... like I said before, I tried a new editing software and absolutely fell in love with it. Unfortunately it's the 30 day free trial version, so unless I just repeatedly make fake accounts I most likely will not be able to use it again :(

My First AJMV!

Hai, jammers!

YUP. Popcorn has finally grunted out her first AJMV. This was not the original one, actually. The OG one was on my mobile device and wouldn't let me transfer it to my computer. 

After I fully accepted this somber realization, I decided to make a completely new one. And I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!

What I'm NOT happy about is the stupid watermark that's in the video, before the video, and in the end of the video! 

That being said, though, I did quite like the editing software itself; it's free and very easy to use. 

But that being said, I am experimenting with other softwares and one I have a 30 day trial on so expect another AJMV in April :D

Anyways, here is the AJMV "I Like Me Better When I'm With You"!
