Hey jammers! Happy start of Jamaalidays! Popcorn here, and today's post I will be focusing ALL on Jamaalidays, including the history, some facts, and more!
Today's (12-1) Jamaaliday Present is:
1 diamond + a Jamaaliday Racing Jacket!
I won't post about each item daily, but every week or so I'll list the past items in case you missed any :)
What are the Jamaaliday's?
The Jamaalidays are basically Animal Jam's Christmas! (Or any other holiday you celebrate) It was officially introduced in 2010. The "event" happens through the very end of November ALLLLL the way through December. Throughout the December month, Jamaa Township and all of the other lands get decorated with candy canes and lights and presents!
It's by far my favorite seasonal event in Jamaa, what about yours?
Daily Gift Calendar
This is one of my favorite parts about the Jamaalidays! The Daily Gift Calendar is a month long calendar that gifts every jammer a NM clothing or den item and/or maybe even a diamond! It replaces the Daily Spin all through December, and made it's first appearance in 2011!
Parties/Adventures!
Not only does the Jammalidays have a Daily Gift Calender, but they also have their own party and adventure! The Jamaaliday Jam is the holiday party hosted during the Jamaalidays in the Gingerbread House den, and there you can buy many Jamaaliday-themed den items and also access the Pet Reindeer adoption icon. This party was also released in 2011.
The Jamaaliday Rescue is the Jamaaliday adventure (obviously :P) Released in 2014, in this adventure, you must try to navigate through a labyrinth filled with ice and snow. The labyrinth is filled with presents that the phantoms have stolen. The goal is to get to the center of the labyrinth, while collecting as many presents as you can on your way there!
Sounds pretty fun to me! I have tried it a couple of times in the past and it was REALLY hard! 😣 But you know what? I'm going to try and complete it this year and get EVERY PRIZE POSSIBLE BWAHAHAHAHAH!

Music
You may be familiar with some of the Jamaaliday music, as sometimes AJ plays one in Jamaa Township throughout the Jamaalidays. But here are some basic facts and info about the main 2 Jamaaliday songs :)
The first song is the Jamaaliday Jingle. A classic, and the music that is played in Jamaa Township, the Jamaaliday Jingle is a members only music for dens. It was first released in December 2014, and was sold in the Diamond Shop until 2016, but has not been seen there since. 🤔

The next tune is the Winter's Dance, one of my personal favorites :>! I really like it because of the piano and the upbeatedness (looks like we're making up words today) of the tune. And it's not in your face either. I like listening to it while I decorate my den or something :). It is members only again *sad face* and was first released in December 2011. You can find it at these 3 parties: Play Wild Party, the Jamaaliday Jam party, and the New Year's Party!

Fun Facts :)
- The Pet Reindeer is the only Jamaaliday seasonal pet!
- The Jamaaliday Gift Shop only appears during Jamaalidays in the Diamond Shop.
- The Gingerbread House den (the den for the Jamaaliday Jam) can no longer be bought.
- In the original Jamaaliday Gifts, almost all of the prizes were Gems that increased the amounts as it got closer to Dec. 25!
