Jamaaliday Den Contest RESULTS!

 Hellooooo jammers! Popcorn here, and yay!! It's time to find out who the winner is of the Jamaaliday Den Decorating Contest!

Wild got so creative with this ornament pathway, and it was by far one of my favorite parts about her den! And the corner with the stockings and present tables were so cool together!

The outside of Dogo's den I thought was super creative, with the blue and white pixel trees plus the snow cloud! It went really well with the snowy den :)

Vai's den I thought was a really cozy and homey den, especially with the fire place in the corner! And I loved the creative idea of having a top floor on the roof of your den!!

Rainbow's den was so cool, especially the outside! I loved that she added a little ice cave in the corner, with an icy pathway! Very mysterious :) Also, that gift pile next to fireplace is such a nice touch!

Contest Due Date Reminder!

 Hey hey hey jammers! Popcorn here, and HAPPY JAMAALIDAY'S EVE everyone!! 

For today's quick announcement, just a little reminder about contest due date:

All submissions are officially due by 1:00 p.m. EST time today! 

Winners will be announced either later today, or December 26th!

Thank you to all of the jammers that submitted a den, and I completely understand if anyone else didn't get the time to! This is a hard time to set up a contest, with finals, and holiday traveling, etc.

🎄 Jamaaliday Shopping Spree! 🍬

 Hey jammers! Popcorn here, and yay! A new post! I apologize for not posting a more entertaining post in a while! I finally got off break, and I have a lot of time today because I have a nice, peaceful little snow day :) (Or so I thought! Our weatherman downright LIED to us and all we've gotten is rain! Um, LAWSUIT?!) 

Anyway, I thought it would be a fun idea to go buy some Jamaaliday items throughout Jamaa, because why not? And we're only 4 days away from Jamaalidays! 

I don't know about anyone else, but I sure am in the Jamaaliday spirit ʕ⊙ᴥ⊙ʔ 

Let's get right into the post! 

Out of the items I found I ended up making 2 outfits! 

The final result from the Jamaaliday Outfit looks like this!

I was also just playing around with my other animal and just browsing the shops, when I found some items to make an Ice Queen outfit X)

Yas queen work it. 

Let's get started!

Jamaaliday Outfit: 

Obviously, a good start to a good outfit are always the colors! I wanted to have more darker reds and greens, so these were the colors I chose. 

The eyes I didn't want to mess with too much, so I just kept them nice and black. Then I moved onto the patterns and ended up choosing these little polka dots :D I thought with the white color they kind of looked like snow in a way! 

Once the coloring was done, I began my journey to find some Jamaaliday clothes! 

I first wanted to look around to see if there were any non member Jamaaliday lights, because the member ones are probably my favorite Jamaaliday clothing item. So, I ended up stopping at Jam Mart Clothing in Jamaa Township! And lucky for me, I found some!! They obviously weren't as good as the member ones, but they were better than I thought they would be :) 

(Only 450 gems too?!) I went with default colors, because I thought they looked nice with just the classic red and green (≧◡≦)

I then tried stopping at the Diamond Shop to see if they had any clothes I could use, but no luck :( So ironically I ended right back up in Jam Mart Clothing XP

I also added this purple Snow globe Hat that I found in my inventory! (I believe it's from the Hot Cocoa Hut in Mt. Shiveer) Here's my outfit so far!

Finally, you know my collection of Jamaaliday Socks? I thought the dark red ones would go great with my outfit, so I put some on ^-^

And that ended my Jamaaliday outfit!

Now I'll show you my...

Ice Queen Outfit: 

Just like the first outfit, I started with the coloring :) For this look, I tried to do a light blue base and then some darker blue "shadows". 

I then moved onto the eyes. I thought that black looked a little too natural, so I went with white! 

Since it seemed that Jam Mart Clothing was the prime place for my clothing discoveries, I quickly stopped by there! And I actually found a useful item! It wasn't at all pricey, so I just said "what the heck" and bought it :)

The last couple of items I put on were from my inventory, and they were the Rare Worn Blanket and some blue Candy Cane Socks! I put them on with icicle horn and here's my final outfit!

I'm pretty proud of it! This will probably be my outfit for a while X)

Due Date Update!

 Hey jammers! This is not going to be a full post, but it's an important announcement! 

The due date for the Jamaaliday Den Decorating Contest has been moved to

December 24th! (Update made 5 hours ago because of a new contestant) 

The date will be changed on the contest info post as well, so this post and that post will both have updated dates!

Description: Epic Wonders is a shop that carries den items and clothing items that are much more expensive than any other shop in Jamaa, but the items are definitely worth it :)

Location: Behind the waterfall in Coral Canyons

• There have only been 13 RIM items sold in the store!
• The Painters Easel and the Pixel Easel are the only items sold for Diamonds in Epic Wonders.
• There are 2 orbs in the shop: the green one (you have to go up the stairs to see it) holds clothing items and the blue one holds den items :)

Trying Fer.al!

 Hey jammers! Popcorn here, and yes!! This is a little bonus post for today, because I have a bunch of big ideas for future posts coming soon!

So for today's post...

 I'm going to be trying Fer.al!

I've heard a lot of jammers and bloggers post or talk about Fer.al, and that's mainly what sparked this idea! 

So enjoy my live reaction to the "new" game!

I just want to say before I start that I absolutely love this Fer.al music! It's got such a nice calm and mysterious vibe to it ^-^

I skipped right to the accessories because you gotta look glamorous of course! xD I also decided to go with the Senzi avatar. I don't know, it just looked fiercer and stronger in a way :)

I moved onto the head, where I tried each of the different options. Obviously, popcornpizza25 avatars are all big-brained, so they have to have a large head. Head 2 scarred me for life with the size I chose (see above), so Head 1 was the obvious option. 

Okay, so we've officially reached the eye accessory part thing. I decided to make her "eyeliner" purple because it's a magical creature, so why not?

And I also changed her eyes to this evil looking one. It kind of makes her look like she just woke up (Basically how I look every day :l)

Um, this is me once again messing around too much with the different shapes. I would not like to have my beautiful majestic avatar looking like a psychopath. (No offense to those jammers with those eyes, it's just my opinion. DON'T HATE ME :)

Also, this was a picture I took of her ears. I couldn't decide which ones to choose, though. That may be a later topic to visit again. (And she has to be able to hear approaching enemies, so that's why her ears are really big. In case anyone was wondering ʕ⊙ᴥ⊙ʔ )

I really like this "newspaper" set up :) Kind of like a really modern and updated Jamaa Journal! 

It's too pretty to even exist 😮

After I explored City Fera some more, I decided to try the other lands! (I honestly didn't even know there were other lands) I decided to pick Blood Tundra, which I thought sounded promising. Here's me catching some skeletal fish in a blood lake :) I actually really liked this land, and it's mysteriousness (Apparently I'm going to be making up words today)

Here's another picture of me hopping on an about-to-break iceberg :) What a smart idea, me.

Knock knock, is anybody home?

After I visited Blood Tundra, I didn't really feel like visiting another land so I just went back to my sanctuary!

I started to decorate it and I have to say, even though the items are all like Animal Jam's starter items and them all being worth practically nothing, they're actually really nice :) The blue and the white look really good together. 

(This is literally the same design as the picture above, I just took it from a different point of view :)

I was going to try and shop for some more decor, but it didn't look like I could afford anything :( I did click on one of the light items, then I hit "craft" but it made this weird noise. I clicked it a lot more times to see if it would do anything, but no luck. So I don't know if I purchased one thing about 10 times, or if it was just a glitch. I guess we'll find out later :D

Ohmigosh this might be my new favorite thing about Fer.al. The trading process. I think they do something like this in AJPW, but I've never had AJPW so correct me if I'm wrong. I love how you can agree to trade with someone, and then actually communicate while you're trading!! This is such a cool feature, and I'm really happy that they did that. 

I tried trading with this person, but they had really good stuff and I didn't put much on my end of the trade. So we ended up getting the exact same things :)

One other feature that I loved is the buddying "method". It's very similar to Animal Jam, except I like how you don't have to become someone's buddy that wants to buddy you. They can just "follow" you, and you can follow them back if you wish! (Also, I found Doomy Panda's name so I started following them. I'm not sure if you're that one, Doomy, so let me know!)

And finally, to wrap up this adventure, I liked how there's a notification center where you can check when you're adventures are completed, and if a certain item you crafted is done! Very cool, Fer.al. Very cool.

That will wrap up today's Fer.al exploration! I really love this game, and though I probably won't be posting much more about it in the future, I'll definitely be playing it! (Obviously, if you want to follow me, I'm popcornpizza25!)

Hey hey hey jammers! Popcorn here with yet another post! Wow, 2 posts in 2 days?! 

Popcorn, where are you getting the time? I honestly have no clue. B)

Today's post might be a bit boring. It may be a bit exciting. I don't know. But it will include some info about the weekly RIM, an AJHQ response archive, and the same old, same old Jamaaliday Prizes and past announcements! Let's get right into the post!

Alright! The next topic was an idea I just came up with while I was browsing the Daily Explorer 

(sorry if a past blogger had this idea before, I'm not sure :) )

Anyway, I thought it would be a fun idea if I would screenshot some questions and responses from AJHQ! Here are some interesting ones I found: 

Scamming and Hacking Q + A's

Although this may sound like a weird question, it's really never easy to tell. I've heard of hackers that can hack you just by jam-a-gramming you, but I'm pretty positive that it isn't true. 

Glitches Q + A's

I think this also happened to me once when I first started playing Animal Jam. A very frustrating time it was.

I thought I would document this for the future :) It's funny to read it, and then switch the screen to AJ where I'm playing JAmaaliday Rescue and see presents every 3 feet xD

Poor Jammer :(

Eco Item Q + A's

I wish I had seen this comment sooner! I agree with the jammer, the update was really cool and I loved how AJ started recognizing Earth Day and the planet a little more! But I wish (and I hope!) that AJ can start to add more eco items and make it more than only one month for each year. We'll see!

I really liked the Jammer's suggestions on this one. The battery packs are a great idea, especially since the turbines only seemed to generate when a Jammer was online (at least for me)

Another suggestion one! All of these Jammers had such good ideas on how to really elevate the whole eco items idea! (I especially liked the dancing one 💃)

I was actually hoping for the same thing :( I severely doubted it because the items were so rare and in high demand, but a jammer can wish! 🌟
