Things To Do

Hey jammers! Quick disclaimer: if any of the names of the ideas have a name in parenthesis, that means the idea is from another jammer and is not my own! If it's left blank, then it's mine :) Happy reading!

Roleplays - Roleplays are so fun to host and participate in! Whether it's a school roleplay, or a fantasy world one they are all super entertaining and exciting! Some roleplay ideas are: 

• Fire vs. Ice - Gather up a group of people and divide them into 2 teams; fire and ice! Train with your team and have fun before the epic final battle between the worlds! Decorate by hanging up potions and plants around the den to give a super realistic feel to the roleplay! 🔥
  
  
• School - School might be the one of the most popular roleplays out there! Get a large-ish den, and then decorate it with plenty of school related to decorations including desks, maps, globes, art easels, tables, etc. Some class ideas: cafeteria, art room, auditorium, recess, and classroom! Assign or let the jammers pick their role (student or teacher) and start the roleplay! School is a great way to bring buddies and jammers together and to have a good time! 🏫
  
  
• College - This one is very similar to school roleplay, but you'll need a bigger den to fit dorms (where jammers can sleep "overnight") For the dorms I recommend giving each room a lamp, a rug, and a bed! You can have as many or as little dorm rooms as you would like, just make sure each jammer has a good amount of space.  so be creative with it! 🎒
  
  
• Restaurant - Restaurant is super fun to do, especially with buddies. The restaurant den is obviously a great choice, but for a non member I recommend the normal Small House den or the Autumn Small House. Also, there is actually a den item called the Diner Booth that is perfect for restaurant roleplays, and the Scented Candle has a variety of "fragrances" that are nice to have in an elegant restaurant. (I have 8 diner booth's as well, so feel free to ask me if you need any) Then, gather together some buddies and have them choose their job: waiter/waitress (person that serves you), host/hostess (person that seats you), or chef (person that "cooks" the food). Have them dress up so they all kind of match up (the colors I recommend are black and white) Finally, spread the word around Jamaa about your restaurant and have fun! 🍲
  
  
• Café - Cafe's are similar to restaurants, but I wouldn't group them together. When I think of restaurant, I think of elegant and fancy. For café, I think more lounge and coffee house. The restaurant den is still a great den to use, as well as any of the small houses. Some good den items to use can be lights, a lamp or 2, plenty of comfortable furniture, . You can still use the  same roles as you did from the restaurant roleplay, but make it more loose and fun! No dress code required, and make an outfit that looks comfortable and colorful! 🪑

Hotel - Hotels are also one of my favorite ways for buddies and jammers to meet new people! Making rooms, picking a den, everything! Setting up a hotel is super fun and pretty easy, and here's how you can do it! 

• Pick your den! First of course, you need to  decide what den you're going to use! My strongest recommendation for members would probably be the Beach House, and for non members any Small House variation will work! If you don't want to use any of those dens, just make sure your den is large enough that you can fit a couple of rooms, other areas of the hotel, etc. The Beach House is nice though, because it already has 3 floors, a pool, and a beach already built in. 
  
  
• Design! Next, start designing your hotel! I like assigning floors or sections of the den a specific room. Some rooms I recommend are a café, the hotel rooms floor, and the lobby floor (likely the bottom level.) Once all of the basic rooms are set up, start adding decorations like masterpieces, flowers, tables and food, beds, etc. Whatever comes to mind! 
  
  
• Hire some buddies! Get some buddies to work at your den! Here is a list of some job roles for you! (Roles can have 1+ people)
  
  -Front desk worker (1-2 people) - Greet jammers at the front desk with a smile and a message!
  -"Luggage" taker (1-2 people) - Take jammers' "luggage" and take them to their room!
  -Lifeguard (1-3 people *optional) - If you put a pool in your hotel, why not add some lifeguards?

Zoo - Zoo is one of the most original things out there, but trust me it can be a lot of fun. Whether you're doing a Jammer Zoo or even a Plushie Zoo, here is a guide to help you with both! 

-Jammer Zoo: A Jammer Zoo is a really cool and funny way to interact with jammers! Setting up jammers behind fences and making little pathways up to the animals always makes it feel more realistic! Here are some tips for the construction of your zoo!

• Den decision! First, you'll need to decide which den you're going to use! I personally like using the Small House den (Autumn or regular variant) because it's not to big, and has a good chunk of space for about 10-14 animals! (Depending on where you place them) 
  
  
• Decorations! Now, start decoarting each gated area! For example, make sure the bunnies have plenty of grass and food in their pen, and of course make sure the pandas have bamboo, trees, and grass in theirs! Be creative with your decorations! 
  
  
• Gather your animals! Once your fencing and decorations are all up, start putting your animals in their assigned cages! Then can hop, dance, sleep, etc. in their cages when guests start arriving! 

-Plushie Zoo: Plushie Zoos are almost identical to a Jammer Zoo, just without moving animals xD I might prefer doing plushie zoos more, because it's a lot easier to move animals and tell them what to do. I won't list the steps because the process is basically the same, except plushies just can't emote.

Mailtime - Do you ever just watch some of Bepper's mailtime videos and long to get 200 messages and gifts a day? *Cough cough. I definitely... don't. cough* Anyways, mailtime's are super SUPER fun to do! All you have to do is make sure your jam-a-grams are on, and let jammers know you're hosting a mailtime! You can ask for funny messages, nice messages, etc. Sometimes you'll even receive gifts from some kind jammers! It's a very fun way to make new friends, and maybe even get some gifts a long the way!

Shopping Spree - Have a lot of Diamonds or Gems? Don't know what to do with them? How about you go on a shopping spree! There are so many stores to shop at, and they all have a variety or either pets, clothes, or den décor! You can even invite some of your buddies to go on a shopping spree with you! Then after you finished shopping, host a fashion show and broadcast what you got! Some of my favorite stores to shop at are: 

• Epic Wonders (clothes + den items)

Smoothie Shop - Running your own smoothie shop can be so fun, especially if you have buddies running it with you! Here's a couple of steps for your own smoothie shop! 

• Select your den! First step: pick which den you're going to use! I recommend dens on the smaller side; it will be easier for you to decorate and it will be easier for your customers to find the shop! A couple of dens I recommend are: Small House, the Mushroom Hut, and the Restaurant den. 
  
  
• Add your décor! Now, add in your smoothie machines, counter, tables and chairs, lights, balloons, etc. The more colorful and fun the decorations, the better the shop! 
  
  
• Hire some workers *optional! If you want some of your buddies to help you at your smoothie shop, go ahead and put them behind the counter! You're guaranteed a lot of laughs xD

Museum - Don't worry, this museum won't be a boring one. Here's what you need to run your own AJ museum! Here are some tips for hosting your museum! 

• Collect some "artifacts"! Now, I know there are no real artifacts in Jamaa. But things like the potted collection, maybe some wall ivy to decorate, and really any other item that looks old and mysterious! 
  
  
• Pick your den! Next, pick which den you want to host your museum in! I like any variants of the Small House den, but as long as you keep your den on the small side, any will really work!

Beat Sky High (Dogo) - I strongly recommend trying to beat Sky High if you have nothing to do on AJ. I've tried many times but I'm not skilled enough xD I think the prizes are 100 gems and a random NM clothing item! Free prizes? Count me in.

Yard Sale (Arianathekoala2020) - Do you have some random items in your inventory that you never think you'll use again? Then a yard sale is perfect for you! Here are some tips for running your own DIY yard sale!

• Select your den! Of course, first decide which den you're going to use! It really depends on the amount of items you're trying to "sell", so as long as you're items fit, the den will work!
  
  
• Set out your items! After you've decided which den you're going to use, you can start putting out your items! The only big thing to look out for is just make sure your den items aren't to close together while also making sure they aren't to far apart in a big den, you know?
